Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her parents are of Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. She was able to land her first role at her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent prior to her turning thirteen, and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. She is now also taking classes in acting for herself. Bell played a brief, uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a part of the music and drama groups in Shrine Catholic High School. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell studied musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the was the same year that she also was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
