Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her grandmother was brought up in the slums of Manila by her biological parents up to 3 years of age. She was then adopted. Her adoptive parents are both Filipinas, and her white American adopted dad is military experience. She claims that she and her adopted brother were subjected to abuse since she was young before she joined the military. For the purpose of moving to Texas, when she turned 13her family stayed for some time living in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. Her father did not end the mental abuse even though she claims that physical violence had diminished. After 18 years of her life she joined the United States Navy. Poarch launched her TikTok page in April of 2020. Within less than eight months, she'd amassed more than 40 million users. Poarch uploaded a variety of videos, but the one that was most well-known was Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. It became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The clip zoomed in on her dancing and lip-syncing along to the track became viral. To take advantage of the fame she gained after joining TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch set up YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Poarch hit her highest point of fame in the month of December. According to reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports teams' interest. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have expressed an interest to have her as a freelance content creator for their respective brands.
